“And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.”
Romans 12:1
Passionate educators are worshippers. You live and breathe God’s presence. You do not make a difference between secular and sacred, work and worship, because your existence has been consecrated to Him. You are your worship to God. It is more than the lifting of hands and the bowing of knees. You are your worship to God. You have given your entire body as a living and holy sacrifice. You are your worship to Almighty God. Therefore, everywhere you place your feet, your classroom, or school becomes a place of worship or a place for worshippers because you are there.
Prayer:
Abba, Father, I give you me. I offer myself as a living and holy sacrifice to you. Here is my worship. Let your presence abide in me. Produce the fruit that brings you glory. It is in you that I live and exist. Therefore, it is you who teaches these students. You lead this school. You bring transformation to this educational system. In Jesus’ name, amen.
