Walking In Authority

(Excerpt from “21 Day Prayer Challenge for Passionate Educators”

by Dr. Stephanie A. Harper)

“A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh and blood enemies but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in heavenly places. Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then, after the battle, you will be standing firm.”

Ephesians 6:10-13

“In this way, He disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by His victory over them on the cross.”

Colossians 2:15

In the educational system, there are areas in which spiritual wickedness have taken hold of classrooms and schools. Unfortunately, stories of school violence, teen suicides, drug abuse, and mental issues are affecting young scholars all over the world. These scholars need passionate educators that have the power and authority to disarm strategies of the devil. You are these scholars’ greatest advocate. Use the power and authority given to you by Jesus Christ to save their lives everyday, put on God’s armor so that you may stand firm against all the strategies of the devil. Your scholars are depending on you to walk in your God-given authority.

Prayer:

Today, I take authority over every principality, power, ruler of darkness, and the spiritual host of wickedness that has taken hold in our classrooms, schools, districts, and educational system. I declare the Kingdom principles of God will rule and reign in each area of education. I cancel every stronghold and release the will and authority of God. I’m clothed with the whole armor of God. Therefore, I can resist the enemy and continue to stand firm after every challenge and battle that may revolt against me. Thank you, Father, for transforming the educational system. In Jesus’ name, amen.
