Galatians 5:22,23
Every person who walks through the doors of your school has a story. They are more than just a student, teacher, custodian, cafeteria worker, or bus driver. Many of their stories are filled with the fruit of abandonment, neglect, disappointment, and sickness. Sometimes they are entering the school not because of teaching and learning, but to have a moment of relief from their life of hopelessness. Passionate educator, God has positioned you to bring the hope of the gospel to their lives. Because you are living a spirit-led life, you are producing fruit that ministers to their abandonment, neglect, disappointments, and hopelessness. Let them eat your fruit.
Prayer:
God of love, be glorified. Today, I pray for every person who walks through the doors of my classroom and school. I pray healing to their broken lives. Meet every need and comfort every hurting heart. Holy Spirit, I allow your fruit to be produced in me, so that each person that I encounter today may eat thereof. Holy Spirit, you are welcome in this school. Thank you, Father, for transforming the educational system. In Jesus’ name, amen.
