“Then the people of Israel were convinced that the Lord had sent Moses and Aaron. When they heard that the Lord was concerned about them and had seen their misery, they bowed down and worshipped.”
Exodus 4:31
“Moses, my servant, is dead. Therefore, the time has come for you to lead these people, the Israelites, across the Jordan River into the land I am giving them.”
Joshua 1:2
“Then the Lord turned to him (Gideon) and said, ‘Go with the strength you have, and rescue Israel from the Midianites. I am sending you!”
Judges 6:14
“For this is how God loved the world, He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.”
John 3:16-17
Throughout the Scripture, you can see God’s heartstring being pulled when His people cry out to Him for help. In response to their cry, he rises up and sends a leader to deliver and take them to a place of promise. Passionate educators, God is deeply in love with the people under your leadership. He has a heart for every student and teacher. He sees their misery and injustice. That is why He sent you. You were sent to deliver them and take them to a place of hope and promise. Oh, hallelujah! As you lead with God’s heart, your students and teachers will know God is concerned about them. Not only will your school be transformed, but also, everyone under your leadership will turn their face to God.
Prayer:
Abba, Father, thank you for your faithful love. You sent Jesus so that this world may be saved through Him. Father, I surrender to you and I accept my assignment to lead the people in my classroom or school to a place of promise. I pray you will heal their broken hearts and deliver them from all bondage. I will follow your instructions and obey your commands. Give me wisdom to lead your people. Thank you, Father, for transforming this educational system. In Jesus’ name, amen.
