A loving home
It’s heartbreaking to see students that don’t come from a stable or loving home. You can provide that for them in your classroom.
Confidence in themselves
We long for students to see what we see! We believe in them, we want so badly for them to believe in themselves.
Love of learning
This is why we do what we do! We love to learn and endeavor to bring that love of learning to our classrooms.
Common sense
Common sense is not all that common, unfortunately! Thankfully, we can practice this in our schools and model great decision making skills.
Work ethic
There’s nothing like some fantastic work ethic! Again, we are the models. Show them and they’ll catch on!
A good meal everyday
It is almost unimaginable the number of children that go home without a good meal. We encourage you to check your local resources to see what’s available to help kids get the nourishment they need.
Understanding that they can succeed
Our heart is for all students to succeed and KNOW that they can!
While you may not be able to provide these things permanently for your students, know that you are in charge of the environment in your classroom. Whether or not they find love at home, they will find it in your classroom. They will find stability in your classroom. They will find encouragement in your classroom. They will find safety in your classroom.
